AIP can be very daunting with all the restrictions and substitutions. It’s hard to keep track of all the “free’s” you have to be… gluten free, nightshade free, dairy free, refined sugar free, etc. etc. And with the added pressure of having to cook all of your meals from scratch, it’s easy for stress to take over… your optimism starts to dim and the thought of giving up becomes the more desirable option.

I want to clarify that I am by no means a chef. And, I absolutely mean that from the depths of my soul. In fact, I used to hate cooking (tough to admit on a food blog)! However, when I learned to cook simply, the tides started to change and I fell in love with it because it spoke to my newly found (HEAL)thy self.
Now that I’ve found my cooking stride, I want to share it with you! Simple recipes don’t have to equate to boring, tasteless food. Simplistic cooking means that you get to cherish and savor the flavors of whole foods the way God intended them to be. It also means you get to spend less time in the kitchen and more time doing what you love (whilst still nourishing your body).
I guess you could say HEALtrition is AIP for “dummies” (but that doesn’t sound very nice!)
